Do you want to hear a secret? Wedding planning isn’t easy. Just kidding! That’s no secret. We
all know that it is an extremely difficult and strenuous process. So, when it comes to planning
for entertainment a photography, how far out should this be done? That’s a totally fair
question, and one that I can promise that you are not alone in asking.
When it comes to booking entertainment and photography options, it is best to book these
about six months in advance. This is for a couple of reasons.
The first reason is that since you have booked your photographer, it is now an item of priority.
Because you’re thinking about it, you’ll start planning out how you want your photos to look,
what kind of theme you’re going for, and what types of shots your might want to have taken.
The other reason is that entertainers and photographers are often booked very far in advance.
You’re going to have your short-list of photographers, bands, DJs, and other entertainers and
you’re going to want to make sure that they’re available. It would be a huge bummer if you
went to book your favorite photographer and they weren’t available, you would be devastated.
The moral of the story is, get on booking your entertainment and photography early. It’s better
to book the one you want early and make changes later rather than missing out on the one you
want and having to go with second choices.
I hope this helps all of you out there and wish you the very best in preparing for your perfect
Until Next Time,
